Dr. Shuki Gleitman
Chairman, Platinum Neurone Ventures

Prior to his position at PNV Shuki was the Chief Scientist and Director General of Israel’s Ministry of Industry and Trade where he managed all of the Government of Israel’s technology programs. In the course of his four-year tenure, Shuki was responsible for allocating over $1.5 billion in grants in the framework of promoting R&D activities in the Israeli high-tech industry. Prior to his term at PNV he also served as the CEO of Ampal Investment Group (NASDAQ: AMPL), where he was responsible for the investment of over $200 million in high-tech ventures. During his tenure at Ampal, Shuki led a $330 million joint venture with Motorola Israel founding Mirs Communications Ltd., Israel’s fourth largest cellular operator. Shuki holds a Ph.D. (with distinction), M.Sc. (with distinction) and B.Sc. in Physical Chemistry, from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Noam Lemelshtrich
Latartech Holdings Limited

Noam Lemelshtrich is the chairman of Latartech Holdings Ltd, a private VC for investments in high tech companies. Noam holds a PhD in communications from M.I.T, MSc in Engineering Systems from Stanford University, and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering (summa cum laude) from the University of California. Noam was among the pioneers to publish on the subject of two-way communications from the Home and was a member of the Human Machine Systems Laboratory at M.I.T that studied the effects of two-way communications systems.

Noam currently teaches at the Tel Aviv University School of Communications.

Zeev Binman
General Partner, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Zeev Binman joined Pitango in 1998. Mr. Binman has extensive experience serving as a financial, commercial and operational executive in Israel and abroad.

Prior to joining Pitango, Mr. Binman served as Vice President of Finance and Organization at PazGas, the leading Israeli energy company. He also held a similar position at Fibronics International, USA, a leading fiber-optic communication company. Early in his career, he served as referent for the defense industries in the Budget Department of the Israel Ministry of Finance.

He holds a B.A. in Economics and an M.B.A., specializing in Finance, from Tel Aviv University.

Mr. Binman currently serves on the Board of Directors of a number of companies, including Galil Medical and Optonol.

Edoardo Lecaldano
Information Technologies

A seasoned businessman from the banking world, Mr. Lecaldano studied Economics in Italy, England and the United States. Prior to joining Alice Ventures, he served as an economist at the Bank of Italy for five years, and as head of the Credit and Structured Financing Department at Mediobanca, the most prominent merchant bank in Italy, for twelve years.
